computer harddisk help!!!?
ok, so im building my custom computer. my HDD hard disk which is my master is hooked up. i have two CD drives that apprentally are slaves, and i want another harddisk like my HDD. or somthing along the lines of that. well i hook up this other hard disk that used to be the master in an old computer but i made it a slave. i put it into my computer hook it up, i dont have SATA cables i jsut have the IDE cables. i dont know if i have done anything wrong but it just wont load. my screan and keybord freezes up, and well im just stuck there wondering what the F is going on. so, after many hours of hassle, ive given up.
so can anyone help me and or point me in the directition of a good, GOOD, GOOD, website. haha.

Don't mix Hard drives and Rom Drives on the same cable
Put the 2 hard drives on one cable as master and slave
and the 2 CD Roms on another cable as master and slave
