do i need to buy an adapter for my sony Memory Stick Pro Duo?
I am buying a sony 2gb memory Stick Pro duo for my Sony Dsc t10 camera. Some websites offer with an adapter and some don't. Do i need to buy one with an adapter? And whats the adapter for? Will the stick not allow me to transfer pics to my pc? I don't know much about technology these days!!
I did technical support for sony before. You don't need an adapter, your camera is fit for a memory stick pro duo only, you can't use regular memory stick pro. You might need an adaptert if your planning to transfer the picture directly from the Memory Card to your pc(if there's a slot in your pc for memory/sd cards), but you can always use the usb/firewire cable directly from your camera to your pc. You can transfer all your pictures to your pc, that is not a problem, just install the software that comes with the camera.
