How do you change a Sony Cybershot DSC-T5 and T7 with a Japanese user interface to an English one?
My friend bought a Sony Cybershot DSC-T5 and DSC-T7 From Japan. And hey, guess what, they both use Japanese user interfaces. Is it possible to change 'em into English or does she need to take Japanese night classes?

Yes I have Rod, and no, there's no language menu. Apparently they're not exactly the same model sold outside of Japan. Her T7 comes in a black finish, the one's sold outside of Japan comes only in silver.
The international versions do have a language menu - I just checked the on-line version of the manual. Unfortunately, Sony doesn't offer a download of the international firmware... So you're screwed. Best order some sushi and memorise the Japanese menu names. Frankly, I'm surprised that they went through the effort of making regional adjustments.

You can change the last bit of that url from 5 to 7 for the DSC-T7
