How do filters (like the hama range fit) on to the end of my lens?do they just screw on like the Lens Cover?
I have just bought a Digital Slr (olympus e400) and i am new to the SLR world. I have Only Used compacts before but i am eager to learn.
Yep they screw on the end. Look at the inside rim of the front of your lens. You will see a thread which holds the filters. On the inside or outside rim there'll be a measurement which is the size of filter you need in mm. If you're unsure, take the lens with you when you buy the filter and check it fits.
