Camera Hard
When I plug in a hard drive or camera these do not show up in My Computer. How do I get them to show up? ?
When I plug in a hard drive or camera these do not show up in My Computer. How do I get them to show up? I am using windowXP PRO.
I check the device drivers and both the camera and portable harddrive are there and say they are working fine They are working on another PC with the same operatoing system.
First, you need to check compatibility of the hard drives or the cameras(look up in the product manual).
Second, try plug them into other comps with XP and see whether they can be regconized
If they are compatible, plug them in. Right click on my computer and choose properties and choose hardware tab. Then choose Device manager.
IF there is something wrong with installing these products' drivers, there will be a question or exclamation mark. Then you need to go online and download the appropriate drivers.
If there is none of these signs, choose a button wich says scan for hardware changes. They might be detected.
