My Blackberry Curve charger port broken...what can I do?
Hii!! Well basically my Blackberry charger port is broken! one of the gold metal pieces are missing, Like there are suppose to have 5 but i have 4. So what can i do besides buying a new phone or sending it back to the provider because that is not an option for me. I have read that i can buy a separate charger and charge my batt and stick it back in my phone but the t-mobile lady said that it wont work, is she lying to me? lol Also, is it POSSIBLE to even replace the gold metal piece and get the phone to actually work?? I live in New york and was wondering if there were places that i can actually get this done?I Just got this phone and I really like it! someone please help!
Try searching for a BB repair shop. I would think a place like NY would have at least one. Otherwise, here is a link to a repair shop in Houston. The alternative would be to purchase a stand alone BB Battery Charger and an Extra Battery. This would probably be cheaper than the repair. You should be able to find the charger and a battery at a local BB accessory shop or on eBay. See the second link for an example.
